The Montessori Scholars Academy Philosophy

We seek to consistently serve children in a safe and nurturing educational environment by challenging and inspiring their individual quest for knowledge and skill, and by empowering the development of their self-discipline and self-confidence.

Montessori Scholars Academy (MSA) is a Montessori educational facility in Milton that is dedicated to the highest standards of pedagogical practices for your child. Our school focuses on teaching your child the skills necessary to succeed in the ever-changing technological world we live in. MSA has obtained Georgia Bright form the Start Quality Rated & Georgia Accrediting Commission accreditation, which helps demonstrate our dedication to the advancement of your child in our educational program.

The Importance of Family

Our school stresses the importance of the family-teacher partnership. Family members are invited to participate in the classrooms through a variety of ways: reading, cooking, classroom projects or participation in “going-outs”.

Official Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year to discuss children’s progress, and individual meetings can be scheduled at the request of the family or the teacher.

MSA has set as a goal the education of the families it serves regarding their child’s Montessori educational experience. It is crucial for the family to understand the underlying values that the child is acquiring at school, in order to support his growth. We achieve this through Educational Nights which are scheduled throughout the academic year to discuss topics ranging from the principles being taught, the areas of the classroom and its purposes, discipline approach and socialization.

In depth training for families is also another goal of MSA, and this is done in sessions offered to families twice a year that are called “Silent Journeys”. These sessions offer an opportunity for parents or other adult caretakers to experience Montessori in-depth, and support from home the work that the school is doing with the children during the school year.

We Believe That Kids Are Born With a Quest for Learning

All of Montessori Scholars Academy’s Lead Guides and Teachers are certified. To obtain this certification, the teachers must attend and successfully complete the entire training program offered at designated training centers for their specific level (e.g. Primary). The teachers must also complete a practicum and work as assistants in the appropriate classrooms before becoming a Lead teacher. All of our teachers are First Aid and CPR certified and must complete 18 continuing education hours yearly.

Montessori Scholars Academy…

...was built with love

The owners of Montessori Scholars Academy have built this school with a lot of love and care, as if they were building it for their own children. We have created a welcoming environment that is respectful of diverse cultures that make parents feel comfortable entrusting their child in MSA care. Open communication is a key component between the teachers and parents. The building is designed in such a way that one can enjoy seeing beautiful nature while being in it.

...offers a clean environment

The school’s building is a state-of-the art facility built with a two-story ceiling to enable plenty of fresh, high-quality air and very large windows so that each classroom has plenty of sunlight and Vitamin D for the children.

...prioritizing safety and well-being

The school’s campus was purposefully built about 1000 feet away from the road to ensure the safety of all the children & the building is free from noise, dust & pollution from road traffic.
